Doing up the Saxo!

The second best car of them all! The Citroen Saxo is what I am currently doing up. I own a Citroen Saxo and I find it quite easy to Modify due to it’s small size. By the beginning of next year, I will be 17 and ready to start practice driving around in this little vehicle. Kitting it up before I am old enough to drive it is great because that way i know all around the car and how all the system works. As said in the ‘How to spend $30000 on a Jeep’ page, it says about how the engine isn’t functioning properly as it regularly overheats. After I can fiddle around with the Jeep, it will give me good experience and so I will be able to fix my car if anything happens to it, without calling the AA!

This list shows the Modifications I am going to have applied to my Saxo by the beginning of year 2010. I don’t want my car to be too extreme that people are tempted to break in and steal the expensive equipment I have supplied to the car, but just right to have a decent soundsystem, a nice exterior, and a nice interior. Here is my list of Modifications for my car:

  • Complete Sound System
  • Rear Lights
  • Twin Exhaust
  • Alloy Wheels
  • CD Player
  • LED Gearknob
  • LED Pedals
  • Handbrake
  • Racing Seats
  • Black Paint Job
  • Racing Steering Wheel
  • Tinted Windows

I was going to have a nice body kit to go with these Mods, but I thought how easily they get damaged when going over bumps etc. I used to be very fond of spoilers on cars, but now I think most of them look over the top so I am not going to buy one. I think that these Mods are right for the car, not being too extreme, or too boring. I am just planning out what to start on and what to finish on when doing it up because I don’t want to make silly mistakes that will make faults to the car. Here are a couple of pics showing a few of the Mods.
